What would I do without the internet?

I love the internet. How did I get along without it? Oh yeah...I drove, or rode my bike, or took the bus, or walked to a library, wandered through the card catalog, searched the stacks and, if I got lucky, found just what I was looking for. More often than not, what I needed wasn't at my branch.

But now?

Yesterday I needed to fix a pace clock for my swim team, but I know NOTHING about clocks. Search terms: "pace clock", adjust, hands, clock brand. INSTRUCTIONS right there.


My daughter's studying ancient history. I found some FANTASTIC resources including this page from Washington State University's World Cultures program: http://www.wsu.edu:8080/~dee/MESO/MESO.HTM

Need to find out about a wart, a weed, which colleges provide which majors, a recipe, a friend, a photo, a map? Name it, and if you learn the keys to searching it's ALL out there for us to find!
